Introducing Blind Speed Dating on Ark

We’ve reimagined the way people connect on Ark — and now we’re taking it a step further with Blind Speed Dating. This is a new twist on our original Speed Dating feature: now, all chats are completely anonymous, and connections are based on conversation alone. It's all about the vibe — 3 minutes to chat and see if you click, without any distractions.

What’s New

You won’t choose who you talk to — we’ll automatically match you each round based on your profile and preferences. Everyone you’re paired with has also joined the event and is ready to meet someone new.

How It Works

• Schedule: Blind Speed Dating typically happens biweekly on Sundays.

Check the Speed Dating tab in the app to see the schedule of upcoming sessions. If it says “Coming Soon,” it means we haven’t announced the date and time yet — stay tuned!

• Timed Chats: Each chat lasts for 3 minutes, with a new random match assigned after each round.
• Match Decision: At the end of each chat, you’ll decide whether to make it a match. If both of you say yes, you’ll be able to continue chatting.
• Session Duration: Each event lasts at least one hour, enough time to meet several potential matches.
