Why did one or more of my matches disappear?

A match will last indefinitely (moving to your archived section if the conversation stops) as long as neither party ends it. However, a match can disappear for several reasons:

• The person you matched with deliberately unmatched you.
• The person you matched with accidentally unmatched you.
• You accidentally unmatched with them.
• The person you matched with deleted their account.
• The person you matched with was banned or suspended, which results in the match being removed.
• You have signed into the wrong Ark account.

  • Each login method (Phone Number or Apple) creates a unique account, and it's not uncommon for people to accidentally create a second account. If you think you may be signed into the wrong Ark account, go to Account > Settings > Log Out to return to the login screen. From there, try different login methods to find the correct account.
