How to Fix SMS Verification Code Not Received
If you are not receiving the SMS verification code for the Ark app, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Restart the App and Your Device
Close the Ark app completely and reopen it. If the issue persists, restart your device and try again.
Step 2: Check Your Network Connection
A weak or unstable network connection can delay or prevent SMS delivery. Ensure you have a stable mobile signal by:
- Checking if you have sufficient network coverage
- Toggling airplane mode on and off
- Restarting your phone
Step 3: Verify Your Phone Number
Make sure you have entered the correct phone number with the correct country code. A small typo can prevent you from receiving the code.
Step 4: Request the Code Again
Wait a few minutes and try requesting a new code. Sometimes, there may be temporary network delays.
Step 5: Check for Carrier Restrictions
Some mobile carriers block certain messages, including verification codes. If you suspect this might be the case, contact your mobile carrier and ask if they are blocking shortcodes or automated SMS messages.
Step 6: Disable SMS Filtering and Spam Blockers
Check if your phone has any SMS filtering or spam protection features that might be blocking the message. Look in your spam or blocked messages folder.
Step 7: Contact Support
If you've tried all these steps and still haven't received the code, reach out to our support team at support@arkdating.app. Include your phone number (with country code) and any troubleshooting steps you've already tried so we can assist you more efficiently.
Important: If you have reached the limit for requesting SMS codes, we cannot generate a new code for you right away. This service is managed by a third-party company, so you will need to wait 24 hours before you can request a new code.
