Commandment #1: Be Respectful
At Ark, we believe that respect is the foundation of healthy and positive interactions. Our community is built on trust, kindness, and mutual understanding. To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask all users to adhere to this first and most important guideline: Be respectful.
Respectful behavior means acting as you would in real life—treating others with courtesy, kindness, and consideration. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on the Ark app:
- The use of crude or sexual comments: Ark has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment or exploitation. All interactions should be appropriate and respectful.
- Discriminatory behavior: Anything that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual is not allowed on Ark.
- Harassment and intimidation: Disparaging remarks, bullying, or any attempt to make another person feel uncomfortable is prohibited.
- Requesting money from other users: Asking for money or financial assistance is not acceptable on the Ark platform.
- Advertising: Advertising or promotional content is not allowed unless specifically approved by Ark.
- Promoting social media accounts or soliciting followers, is not allowed. While having an Instagram handle or other social media links in your bio is permitted, requesting others to follow you or visit your social media pages is considered advertising and is not allowed.
- Violating laws or regulations: Any behavior that violates local, state, or national laws will result in account suspension or termination.
By following these guidelines, we can ensure that Ark remains a positive and welcoming space for everyone. If you encounter any behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately to help us maintain the integrity of our community.
